Focus Drawn worked with our partners and Johnnie-O to design their new store at in Denver, Colorado. Focus Drawn created a floor plan to maximize SKU counts, optimize the customer experience, and reinforce the lifestyle brand of Johnnie-O.
We created a comprehensive construction packet to guide the upfit of the space, HD renderings of the design, signage drawings,fixture build drawings, and assisted our partner, Hammerhead, with project management.
We have worked closely with Hammerhead and Johnnie-O on their new retail locations and shop-in-shops. Because they are a regular client of ours, we have developed a strong,standard process for opening new retail locations and up fitting existing ones.
Over a six-month process, with weekly meetings, Focus Drawn created drawings for all aspects of the new Johnnie-O store in Denver. We traveled to the new location to make a 3Dscan of the as-built space. While we were onsite, we created the digital twin of the space and met with the store management team to draw the space live. Sitting together in a hotel lobby over a few hours, we were able to collaborate on the new layout and flow of the Denver store. With the new space drawn, the next day we were able to go back to the store location and walk through our design.
We refined the design for the new Denver store in meetings and live drawing sessions, maximizing curb appeal, choosing materials and finishes to fit the vibe of downtown Denver, and highlighting the lifestyle brand of Johnnie-O.
Our fixture build drawings were used by Hammerhead to build the custom fixtures and install them to our precise layout. Signage and graphics were produced and installed.
Throughout the planning and build out phase, Focus Drawn was active in problem solving, planning, and moving the project forward. Our complete construction package was used to guide the permitting process and construction phase.
