Retail Design

Full store build outs, pop-up stores, store refresh, and store-in-stores are unique opportunities to focus on the customer’s experience with your brand. Our Process

We like to dive in to retail design by understanding your brand and your customer.  From there, we talk about the type of experience you want to curate for your customer – always making sure we are true to the brand. Our process keeps you involved and offers you options:

• We start by working in the true-to-life confines of your space.  We use a 3D scanner to make a digital twin of your store.  Our digital twins are accurate within a ¼”. This digital twin lives on a website that can be accessed by our team and anyone you want to have access to it. (We are happy to share the digital twin with GCs and vendors who will help make your store a reality.)
• We draft your space and create floor plan options to optimize flow and SKU counts.
• On a live drawing session, we can manipulate these floor plans based on real-time feedback to arrive at a design quickly –usually within an hour or two.
• Knowing the details of your products, we have to-scale models of your assets (right down to the hangers) ready to insert into fixture concepts.  By working with the actual dimensions of your products we can assure that everything fits perfectly.  We find that customers are willing to pay a premium and enjoy the shopping experience when they can see that everything is specific.
• To make sure we are on the right page and all of the stake holders are on-board, we produce high definition, photo-realistic renderings using actual materials and lighting.
• When we are ready to send our ideas to be realized, we produce a Construction Packet that outlines every design decision,right down to the smallest piece of hardware. This package can be submitted for bidding.

Each fixture is modeled, and drafting is produced so the fixture can be produced exactly as we want it to be.  We partner with fabrication shops that take our models, build drawings, and computer-programmed cutting instructions to build your fixtures.

We coordinate with any partner on your project.  We are happy to answer questions when they arise and offer solutions when problems come up.  To ensure that the quality is up to our standards, we make site visits and collaborate with vendors.  To keep you in the loop, we will send regular progress updates.
